Apparently someone/some group decided to stomp all over my car’s hood last night. I didn’t notice until I drove somewhere and got out. In addition to 4 dents, theres a scratch around one of them, a mark on the fender and shoeprints everywhere. What should I do?

File a vandalism claim. If you have comp coverage it would fall under that. If you don’t have comp though you may be out of luck. Also make sure to provide pictures to them. Those of us who work in claims can’t help but automatically be skeptical, so make sure to provide as much as possible to support your case. Did you call the police and file a report?

But on a serious note, I had some drunk dipshits jump on the roof of my car, but it popped back out from the inside pretty easily. I don’t know where it happened but if they have a security camera maybe they can identify who did it?

Not for the staff area of the parking lot, unfortunately.
And I don’t know. This is actually the second time my 2015 Sentra has been sat on by assholes, but last time the only damage was butt sweat. I actually watched the police interrogate them WHILE they were sitting on my car (in August). This time they were definitely stomping.

I don’t think dash cams are legal in Florida, but I do like that idea. Getting run over by a Sentra is a pretty lame way to go.

Who told you that dash cameras are illegal in Florida? Can you find the statute? There may be laws in Florida prohibiting placing an object (dash camera, GPS or radar detector) on your windshield that would obstruct your vision but I am fairly certain you are allowed to film your drive with a camera. Here in California you are only allowed, by law, to place your GPS in the lower left or right corners of your windshield, but everyone still has them in the top center of the windshield and I never see police handing out tickets for this.

You need to buy a dash camera, the cost ranges from $20 and up.
The better cameras have no battery and use a capacitor.

No clue - I’m in Manhattan. Just google it - but later model cars will have fewer wrecks sitting in a junkyard. Or check ebay - someone might be parting out a wreck.
